Bob has been actively flying for over 20 years. He started flying Jump planes 5 years ago at Adrenalin Airsports that was located at Smith Mountain Lake Airport in Moneta, VA. Bob started with Skydive Virginia in July of 2007 as their King Air Captain and has been dropping skydivers almost every weekend since. Bob also does some corporate flying during the week in several different models of aircraft.

He has been interested in flying since a child. As a youngster he would beg his parents to take him to the airport, so he could watch the airplanes. He started flying lessons while working as a helicopter flight paramedic on Lifeguard 10 in Roanoke, VA. One of the pilots encouraged his aviation interests and soon he had his pilots license. He has done a wide assortment of flying since those early years while earning his ratings, but enjoys flying skydivers a lot, as he says, "they are some of the most grateful passengers I have ever flown, it's really challenging and a lot of fun".

Flying has been one of the highlights of his life, and he hopes he can continue for many years to come.
