I got my first taste of jumping out of airplanes with the US Army in
1986. I enjoyed that so much that I knew that someday I'd have to take it a
step further and actually jump with out a static line. Finally, in 1991 I
took the AFF course in Hollister, CA and haven't looked back since.
At the encourgement of some fellow skydivers whom I love and respect, I
became a static line jumpmaster and instructor, then a tandem instructor. The
move has really increased my enjoyment of skydiving. Sharing the thrill of
freefall and canopy flight with a tandem passenger or the first 2-way with a
student, is quite rewarding.
